Notes: If you do not have an integration with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, please use the standard onboarding procedure: Overview: Implementing Dynamic Yield on your Site
The Dynamic Yield – Salesforce Commerce Cloud cartridges provides a quick and seamless integration with Dynamic Yield and enable automatic implementation of Dynamic Yield’s eCommerce solution to include:
- Dynamic Yield tracking script implementation
- Context API implementation
- eCommerce events implementation
- Product Feed (catalog) export
The maximum feed size is 40MB. If the feed is larger than that, we recommend uploading the feed directly using a standard product feed, which still allows you to use the integration to set up the Dynamic Yield script, page context, and events.
However, the maximum feed size may vary slightly depending on your environment and performance. A Salesforce developer can change the limit after performing tests and measuring the timeout of the feed export job directly with Salesforce. In most cases, this is not recommended.
Before you begin, your Customer Success Manager should have provided you with the Dynamic Yield site ID, access key, and secret access key. If you are creating your first site yourself, you will receive the site ID, access key, and secret access key in an automated email. You will need these items later.
