At Dynamic Yield, we take the approach of continuous improvement to our system, and we’re committed to delivering the value of improvements and new functionality as quickly as possible and with minimum disruption to your business activities.
This article provides an overview of the types of activities we do, and whether and how they might impact you.
- New feature release for Experience OS:
New features and functions are released weekly and do not involve any downtime.
- Backend releases (such as algorithm enhancements):
We work in the CI/CD method, which stands for Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD). This means that we implement bug fixes and other enhancements immediately, so that you benefit from the change as quickly as possible. These releases also do not involve any downtime.
- Automated testing:
Both the OS and backend releases are supported by automated testing procedures, which test the entire system to ensure that it's stable and the changes are deployed seamlessly.
Scheduled maintenance and unscheduled downtime
- Planned downtime:
On rare occasions, maintenance involving downtime might be necessary. In such cases, we'll notify you at least a week in advance, in Experience OS. Scheduled maintenance is typically performed on Sundays, to minimize interference with your work (in the morning European time, before sunrise US time).
- Downtime status:
When scheduled downtime is planned, or in the extremely rare case of unplanned downtime, you can see the system status on the Status Page, which is continuously updated.
