Out-of-the-box COVID-related ideas from the most damaged businesses
The first and foremost affected industries are everything about travelling.
I want to display a couple of extremely unusual and therefore very effective campaigns launched by our customers.
1. S7 Airlines: Earn miles by staying at home
On March 30, S7 Airlines is launching the “Fly at Home” promotion. For a month, travellers will receive 100 miles to their personal S7 Priority loyalty program accounts for every day spent at home.
This campaign is excellent in several senses:
- S7 shows its social responsibility by motivating people to stay at home and therefore fight against there pandemic
- S7 massively enrich their customer base and CRM by engaging more people to sign up for the loyalty program
2. HRS provides Hotel rooms as the Home offices
With the quarantine, many of us faced a situation where we have to share a space with the family and kids during working hours. And many of us find it almost impossible to make it work. HRS offers an excellent solution - to use one of their hotels as a home office where you can work in a non-disturbing environment.
The offer works by email request – again an excellent opportunity to actively expand your email database in order to use it later for the marketing campaigns.
