"Pinning" a product to #1 slot across all rec strategies

We're launching a new product in the next week that we want to heavily promote. One way we would do this with our former rec provider would be to "Pin" the product to the first slot of all recommendation strategies. Is there a way to do something similar where we manually set the first product but the rest slots carry on as they normally would?

  Nice to hear that you are using DY's recommendations to push newly launched products! Are you familiar with strategy filter rules? When you define the strategy that should be applied to a recommendation widget, you have the option to add filter rules on top of the logic you selected. These filters can include, exclude or pin specific products to one or to all slots of your recommendation widget. One thing to keep in mind, if a product is pinned, it will be displayed even if it runs out of stock!
