SessionM is a customer engagement and loyalty platform that helps brands build meaningful customer relationships. Leveraging data analytics and personalized experiences, it enables companies to create targeted loyalty programs that enhance customer retention and drive sales.
The SessionM connector enables you to instantly sync SessionM customer data with Dynamic Yield. When synced, you can use SessionM customer data to target Dynamic Yield campaigns.
Install the SessionM extension
- In the Experience OS store, go to SessionM and click Install.
The SessionM connector now appears in your extension library in the Audience Hub app. - Select Active from the status dropdown.
- Configure the connector with the following information:
- User unique identifier type: Select the identifier you use in your Dynamic Yield Identification events (such as Login, Signup, Identify User, Newsletter Subscription).
- SessionM data: Optionally, add tiers and points data. Enter the names as they appear in loyaltytier_system_name.
- Custom data: Optionally, add custom attributes that aren't part of the out-of-the-box attributes as determined in the User Data Schema Creator.
- Click Get Keys to get your S3 bucket path and credentials. Share these with your SessionM team as needed.
- Click Save.
Create audiences based on SessionM data
- In Experience OS, go to Audience Hub › Audience Explorer.
- Select SessionM Audiences from the dropdown list.
- Configure audience conditions based on data from SessionM.
Troubleshooting
- Make sure that the user unique identifier type you use in your identification events (Login, Signup, Identify) is the same identifier used in the integration.
- Note that Audience Explorer doesn't include real-time data, only defined past timeframes.
- If you've just now implemented the identifier in your identification events: For users who were never identified on the site, connecting them to their SessionM identity can take up to 24 hours.
