Each recommendation widget includes configurable features that control how products are selected, prioritized, and displayed. These settings allow you to align recommendations with specific business goals while maintaining a flexible customer experience.

Headline
Choose whether to display a headline for the widget. This is the title shown to customers on the menu board.
Number of Items
Define the number of product recommendations generated by the algorithm
When Selecting a Product
Display upsell for added product: A related, higher-value or complementary product will be displayed in the first slot
Notes:
The upsell product is displayed in the first slot
When there is an upsell product to present, rules configured in this slot are not applied
The upsell feature is dependent on an “upsell_target” column added to the product feed
Display alternative product to the one that was added to the cart: Display a different product as an alternative to the one added
Product Display
Allow recommending products within the same category - Enables recommending multiple products that have been predefined in the Product feed from the same category
