When working with Dynamic Yield, you'd typically organize your work into sections, each with its own properties. Sections can represent different locations, brands, or environments, such as testing or production. The Experience OS Impact report provides insights into the overall impact of your personalization program – per section.
When you want to assess the overall impact of all your personalization efforts, you might need to summarize your data at the account level. The Experience OS Impact Account report offers this comprehensive view by consolidating data for supported metrics (purchases and revenue) from the Impact reports from your sections.
Accessing the Experience OS Impact Account report
The report is available on every account that has multiple sections with active Experience OS Impact reports. It can be accessed from any of your sections with an active report, and it is available to users with Full Access permissions.
To view the account report, navigate to any of your section reports. Click your account name in the breadcrumbs in the report title or select All Sites from the dropdown menu. You can also access the Impact report of each of your sections from this dropdown.
Note: The report is not available for sections that don't have a purchase metric defined in the General Settings, nor for Financial Institute sections.
About the report
The account report provides insights into the revenue and purchase metrics, summarizing these figures across all your sections. The revenue metric is converted to the currency of the section from which you accessed the report, using daily exchange rates.
Note: Dynamic Yield does not support changing currencies after data has already been collected in a section. Changing site currency will lead to discrepancies in your reports data.
Like the Experience OS Impact section-level report, each metric includes a graph displaying the gains over shorter time intervals. By default, the interval is monthly, but you can also view it weekly or quarterly. Hovering over the bars in the graph to see a breakdown of the gains generated by each of your sections.
You can also view the report for any custom timeframe during which one of your sections had an active Experience OS Impact report. In addition, a list of all your sections is available, showing the gains generated for the selected timeframe, along with an executive spotlight highlighting your overall gains.
Export report data
Click the CSV download icon to export report data to a CSV file, so you can further analyze it on a different platform or share it externally.
The export includes the daily cumulative data of all the metrics in the report. Each row represents a date and the snapshot of the results on that date, based on the data collected from the first day of the test.
Read more about the export file structure in the Experience OS Impact section-level report. Note that the uplift metric is not available in the account report export.
