Sorting Optimizer is an Experience OS app that enables you to dynamically sort and optimize existing category pages and access AI-powered insights recommending the best action to direct traffic to category pages.
Sorting Optimizer provides you with more control over how products are listed on category pages. Make it easier for customers to find – and then purchase – exactly what they're looking for by promoting the most relevant products first.
First, configure custom rules and assign different recommendation strategies to each category page. Use boost and bury rules to optimize your product promotion strategies, and then deploy your campaign using our Experience API server-side Choose call, or, for quick implementation, you can run the campaign from the client side using our out-of-the-box sorting optimizer template.
Finally, use our navigations search insights to redirect site visitors to category pages rather than search results, providing them with relevant filters, promotions, and products defined especially for the category, for a better browsing experience.
Managing Sorting Optimizer
Sorting Optimizer includes the following areas to manage your sorting personalization program:
- Campaigns: Here you can manage all your campaigns. Create new campaigns, edit existing ones, change campaign status, archive or delete campaigns, and more. You can search and filter your campaigns by status or label. Click the Columns dropdown to add more useful column. Your last setting is always saved for future sessions. - Insights: Our AI engine tracks and analyzes site visitor search queries to find those looking for a category, and produces recommendations to redirect users to an existing category or to create a new relevant category. See Navigational Search Insights for more information.
