Shopping Muse relies on Semantic Search to understand shopper queries and retrieve relevant products. You can configure the required Semantic Search settings directly in your Shopping Muse app.
These settings determine which product fields Experience Search uses when matching products to shopper queries. The more relevant the search results, the more accurate and helpful Shopping Muse responses become.
For descriptions of the available settings and configuration recommendations, see Configure Experience Search.
What Shopping Muse already knows
Shopping Muse automatically recognizes the following attributes from your product feed, so you don't need to set them up in your settings pane:
- brand
- sku
- description
- price
- in_stock
Shopping Muse also recognizes any fields you configured as searchable fields in your Semantic Search setup. When selecting searchable fields, choose attributes that are meaningful and relevant to your catalog. For more information, see Searchable Fields in the Configure Experience Search article.
Manage your settings
- In Shopping Muse, go to Customize Agent › Background Knowledge.
- In Search Configuration, configure your searchable fields and other Semantic Search settings.
→ For detailed guidance on each setting, see Configure Experience Search. - Click Save.
