Rotate your AWS S3 credentials
Background
As part of our comprehensive strategy to maintain strong data security and compliance, we are launching a policy to periodically rotate your AWS S3 credential with a new cryptographic key. This policy is in direct response to the heightened global security best practice following the work from home era, as well as a recommendation from our cloud services provider, AWS. This policy will ensure we continue to provide our customers with the highest level of information security.
Current situation
Your organization is currently using AWS S3 credentials to connect a feed to the Dynamic Yield platform.
What is required from you?
To continue using this connection, we ask that you rotate the key no later than March 31, 2021.
For customers who use CRM/User Data Feeds, please open a support ticket when you are ready to rotate your key, choosing Key Rotation as the Main Topic on the ticket. We will then securely send you a new key. Once you have replaced the old key, please reply back to the ticket so we can complete the rotation on our end.
For all other AWS S3 Feed Types, please generate a new key directly in the Admin, replace the old key, and open a support ticket (with Key Rotation as the main topic) once finalized so that we can complete the rotation on our end.
