This article applies to implementations using the Dynamic Yield script on a website.
Starting in Q1/2024, Google Chrome will gradually block third-party cookies for 1% of users. When blocked, the following capabilities will not work on your website:
- Implementation Helper: Browsing your website and debugging the implementation of Dynamic Yield script, page context, and events in real time.
- Creating and editing variations with Visual Edit: Pointing and clicking elements to make changes and create test variations or personalized content.
- Choosing a selector: Pointing to an area on your page to be replaced by Dynamic Content or Recommendation campaigns.
To overcome these restrictions
You can unblock third-party cookies from your site on your browser:
Click the Third-party cookies blocked icon in the address bar, and change the toggle to “On”. Refresh the page, and the onsite functionalities will continue to work for 90 days. After 90 days, you must repeat this action.
