Highlighting top menu categories based on user affinity drives 30.95% uplift in revenue
Hypothesis: Highlighting the categories in the top menu that the user has affinity towards will help them focus on purchases and increase conversion rate.
Use case details:
- For Desktop users, we added red dots in the top menu next to the categories that the users had known affinities towards.
- Attribution only starts with a click on the menu, thus excluding users who didn't interact with the menu navigation.

Results:
- +28.4% - Conversion Rate (purchase per user)
- +30.95 - Revenue
- +0.5% - Average order value (AOV)
