Acquisition Pages is an Experience OS app that enables financial institutions to create, publish, test, and optimize landing page experiences for acquisition campaigns.
Acquisition Pages support contextual targeting using URL parameters, device information, traffic source, and location data, without requiring cookie consent. Pages can be deployed on a Dynamic Yield domain or on a domain that you manage, or they can be embedded into a website using an iframe. Campaigns include built-in A/B testing, out-of-the-box templates, and reporting, so teams can launch, test, and optimize acquisition pages using a no-code visual editor.
Prerequisites
Activate the following feature flags:
- DEV_REACT_TEMPLATE_TYPES
→ Add ACQUISITION_PAGE to the value list - ENABLE_ACQUISITION_PAGES
Managing Acquisition Pages
Acquisition Pages provides a hub for all your acquisition page campaigns, and includes the following areas:
Campaigns tab
This is the default Acquisition Pages view, and it's where you manage all your campaigns:
- Create new campaigns
- In the campaign list, you can view campaign name, status (Active or Archived), URL, impressions, and last-modified date, and any additional columns you configure for the view.
- Hover over a campaign to edit or preview the campaign, or view its report.
- Click the More icon (3 dots) to view campaign activity, duplicate the campaign, export campaign activity to a CSV file, archive the campaign, or delete it.
- Generate code to get the iframe embedding code snippet.
- Filter by status or label, and add or remove columns to customize your view.
- Select the gear icon to configure app-level settings that apply to newly created campaigns.
About campaign structure
An Acquisition Pages campaign is built from a hierarchy of elements:
- Experiences include content variations, and the targeting conditions to determine who is served content, where, and when,
- Variations, within each experience, include the exact content to serve, and can be compared against each other in an A/B test.
- Blocks, within each variation, are the building blocks of the page content: Dynamic Content blocks or Overlay blocks.
For a general introduction to campaigns, experiences, and variations across Dynamic Yield products, see Campaign Overview.
To learn how to create an campaign, see Working with Acquisition Pages.
Templates tab
Here you can create and manage the templates used to build your acquisition pages:
- Create a new template
- View template names, status, type, and the number of campaigns it's used in.
- Add columns to the view.
- Filter by type, status, usage, or label
- Hover over a template row to edit, duplicate, or archive a template
- Click the additional options (3 dots) to view a template's activity, copy it to another section, or delete it
Templates contain either of two types of supported content:
Dynamic content
Dynamic Content replaces static content on a page with personalized content, without modifying the underlying design.
Common use cases include:
- Personalizing banners and promotional content
- Displaying audience-specific offers and messaging
- Highlighting products based on customer eligibility
- Promoting seasonal or campaign-specific content
Overlay
Overlay blocks enable you to display content on top of a page to capture visitor attention and encourage specific actions.
Common use cases include:
- Promoting limited-time offers and campaigns
- Displaying application reminders or next-step guidance
- Collecting lead information through forms
- Highlighting product benefits and key messaging
- Delivering audience-specific promotions and announcements
Settings: Campaign attribution preservation
Acquisition Pages automatically preserves URL parameters that visitors arrive with, including UTM parameters from acquisition channels such as paid search, paid social, email campaigns, display advertising, and other marketing sources.
When a visitor lands on an acquisition page, the original URL parameters are retained and automatically appended to the destination URL configured for each clickable element. This preserves the acquisition context across the entire journey:
Acquisition channel (media ad) › acquisition page › CTA destination
For example, if a visitor arrives on an acquisition page with campaign tracking parameters, those same parameters are automatically passed to the destination page when the visitor selects a CTA. This enables financial institutions to maintain attribution between the original acquisition campaign, the acquisition page experience, and downstream analytics or application systems.
You can view or turn off this behavior using the Append URL Parameters across pages for all new campaigns toggle in Acquisition Pages Settings, accessible from the gear icon in the Campaigns tab.
Note: This setting has been enabled by default for all new campaigns since August 2026. Existing campaigns are not affected if the setting was disabled prior to that date.
